• Luxorist has created the highest standards in design, materials and craftsmanship, creating jewelry that can be passed down from generation to generation, if it is cared for properly with simple basic care.
• At the time of purchase, all Luxorist Jewelry is wrapped in a protective box, case or tarnish-resistant pouch. When not in use, we recommend that you place it back in its original case or another suitably lined box or pouch.

• Never use any lotion or oils on any Opal.
COMMONLY USED ENHANCEMENT
H Heating : Heat enhancement to permanently improve the color and/or clarity of gemstones, is part of standard polishing and finishing process, accepted worldwide for centuries.
O Oiling/Infusion: The centuries old practice of immersing gemstones such as Emeralds in oil, wax, glass, resin or other material to improve its appearance.
C Coating: Sometimes wax, resin or oil is applied in a porous colored gemstone in order to improve its sturdiness, durability and beauty.
B Bleaching: Enhancing a gemstone with heat, light, and/or chemical agents to lighten and create a uniform color consistency.
D Dyeing: Enhancement by coloring agents into porous a gemstone. To intensify its color and improve color uniformity.
N Natural: Gemstones that have not been enhanced in any way.
F Filling: Enhancement by filling a gemstone's cavities, fissures, crevices and cracks with colorless, wax, oil, resin, glass or similar substances to improve durability and/or appearance.
HP Heating and Pressure: Use of heat and pressure combined to enhance color, clarity and/or phenomena.
I Impregnation: Enhancement by melted wax or colorless agent to improve durability and appearance.
L Lasering: Using laser and technology to remove or alter inclusions in gemstones or diamonds.
W Waxing/Oiling: The impregnation of a colorless wax, paraffin or oil in porous opaque or translucent gemstones to improve appearance.
